Supporting Families Grieving the Death of Someone Significant
Saturday, April 6 - Sunday, April 7 | Lied Lodge at Arbor Day Farm | Nebraska City, NE
The Mourning Hope Grief Center is offering a free, overnight Family Camp to support families who have experienced the death of someone significant in their lives. Led by bereavement professionals and caring volunteers, Family Camp combines grief education, emotional support and fun, traditional camp activities. At Mourning Hope Family Camp, families can:
- Explore their grief in a supportive environment
- Learn healthy coping skills
- Make connections with other families experiencing grief
Priority will be given to families who have not previously participated in Mourning Hope programs.

Family Camp FAQ
Q: How much does Family Camp cost?
A: There is no cost to attend Family Camp. All activity supplies, dinner on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday, snacks and overnight accommodations at the Lied Lodge are provided free of charge.
Q: Who can attend Family Camp?
A: Children and teens age 5 and older and their adult caregiver(s) who have experienced the death of someone significant in their lives. Priority will be given to families who have not previously participated in Mourning Hope programs.
